Playa de Vargas

A few weeks ago I was shooting in Vargas with Philip Köster and the guys of Boards magazine, who were testing the champions gear, it was such a good experience and we ended up having a couple of really nice shots, which you will see at the Autum/Winter issue of the magazine, of course I'm not publishing those pictures here, but I also could take some shoots from some of the locals who were sailing early morning that saturday, it was a pitty, Fernando, one of the most classic riders of the island, left tho see the F1 before the group shot.

Danger point (preview)

Today the wind was too North and by noon even turned a little bit to the West, that means no wind at all in Pozo Izquierdo, but in a round shaped island there's always a place where the wind blows from the right direction.

Winter sessions, going south

When the waves are big, the wind is not in the right direction in Pozo Izquierdo and becomes too light, it's time to hit the road and drive just a few miles to find a totally different scenario.

The winter started slow, but it's been really good in the last ten days, I missed most of the action due to some photoshoots not related to windsurfing, but here you have a few pictures that show a little bit how were the conditions.
