A day with Björn Dunkerbeck

In the last two days I've been taking pictures with the boys of Boards magazine, and we spent an afternoon with Björn Dunkerbeck, the man himself; of course I can't show you the pictures, you will see them in the next issue of the magazine.

Winter sessions, going south

When the waves are big, the wind is not in the right direction in Pozo Izquierdo and becomes too light, it's time to hit the road and drive just a few miles to find a totally different scenario.

Winter sessions

The winter started slow, but it's been really good in the last ten days, I missed most of the action due to some photoshoots not related to windsurfing, but here you have a few pictures that show a little bit how were the conditions.

More pictures to come during the weekend.

Winter sessions, survival

Pozo Izquierdo this morning was stormy, big, messy and gusty, not the best day for a fat 41 year old guy copletely out of shape (me) to shoot from the water, but I went anyway, I was scared but I had fun too and ended up having a couple nice pictures.

Now the wind is too light, so I'm going surfing, I'll post the pictures tomorrow.

Winter sessions (preview)

Saturday morning and winter arrives at Pozo Izquierdo, according to the forecast this is just the beginning, it's going to get colder, bigger and stronger.
First guys on the water this morning were Pablito, Pons and Francis with 4,0-4,5, let's see how it is by the afternoon.

Björn Dunkerbeck

I know the picture is nothing special, but it doesn't happen every day that Björn Dunkerbech goes full speed downwind just in front of your window, so when I saw him coming, I rushed to my bedroom to grab the camera I had on the bed and take a picture before he was in the horizon a few seconds later.
