I know I said I would post today more pictures from yesterday afternoon, but I'm so tired after the session I had this afternoon in super gusty conditions and well underpowered with 4,7 that I just need to stretch and go to bed early. The wind is supposed to die for two days, so I'll have time to edit the pictures then.

Of course I was not doing a post without pictures, so here's one of the end of the session, the wind dropped and Pablo changed from the small to the medium board (the one in the picture) which seems to work really well in all kind of conditions.

Killerfish & Haring

In this picture Josep Pons is showing us the nice graphics (Keith Haring inspired) of his new Killerfish custom board.

Unfortunately the colors of the photo are not that good, as soon as I started taking pictures it got clouded and ruined the light completely, because when I'm in the water with the housing there's not too much I can do if the light changes.

New shapes

Pablo "Killerfish" has been surfing quite a bit during the last years, trying surfboards and shaping a few for himself, and now he is aplying all that to a new windsurfing shape.

When I first saw this shape, I thought it was a light wind small wave demon, but later on, talking to Pablo, I knew I was wrong, it's a 78 liters board for overall conditions, it will be painted tomorrow, and the Ramones will be the subject, so I guess I'll post more pictures tomorrow.

A year ago

This time of the year I usually take a look at my work in the past 12 months, and if I'm lucky there's some fine unedited pictures still to publish, here you have a couple of them and I guess there will be a few more tonight.

I'm back

After 75 days away from Pozo, 68 of them spent out at sea, I'm back at home in Pozo Izquierdo, here you have a few shots from my last session just before leaving.

Fisheye

I never had a fisheye lens and it's such a werid thing, so I'm having a little bit of practice (and fun) with it shooting my friends on the beach. In the first picture you can see Juan with his Mazinger board shaped by Pablo, the guy in the secon picture, shaper in Pozo Izquierdo, the lovely girl of the last picture is Daida, with a 2012 Starboard.

Silver Surfer by Killerfish

Pablo "Killefish" just finished a 90 liters quad which will be the delight of his owner for the winter windsurfing conditions in Gran Canaria, with an amazing graphic of one of my favorite superheroes, which of course is Silver Surfer.

Kiss

Today I've been by Killerfish to see the quad Pablo is shaping for himself, I can't wait to see (and ride) the quad finished, but this thruster Kiss tribute it's a really nice pieace of foam too.
