Drops everywhere
As I already said at my previous post, this first session at Mosca Point with the fisheye lens was not easy at all, I saw from my house people were windsurfing there and I just went, so I never talked with the guys about the kind of photos we could do with the present conditions and this kind of lens, and despite wind wasn’t strong and waves weren’t big, current was a big issue, it was really hard for me to stay were I wanted to be, so at the end I couldn’t do any of the pictures I wanted, but even though and despite de drops everywhere, I’m happy with this first session and I had a lot of fun watching the action from the best seat in the house.
Of course I got worked on the shorebreak over the reef on my way back to land, but nothing really bad.

Back home
I've been away from my beloved Pozo Izquierdo again, not that long this time bur nearly a month, I was too tired even to take a propper picture of the beach and had a kind of an urgency of going in the water; it felt soo good it didn't matter if it was light and gusty, I'm home again.

Tino's garage
If I'm not wrong, Tino's was the first board storage in Pozo Izquierdo and has plenty of old (classic) stuff there, as for instance, that yellow and pink sail in the picture, which if I'm not wrong is one of the first small sails for Pozo Izquierdo Björn Dunkerbeck ever had.

Moritz Mauch
I just found these old pictures (2007) from Moritz, I think he was 11 and already windsurfing in Pozo Izquierdo, he was using a kite board his father prepared with a mast box for him.
Under these lines you can see him a few weeks ago.
I’ve been taking pictures in Pozo Izquierdo for 15 years now, so I’m starting to have a small peace of history, I’ll keep posting some old stuff.

Arinaga
Windsurfing in Gran Canaria is not all about Pozo Izquierdo, five minutes north from Pozo, we have Arinaga, a flat water spot (with sand in low tide) perfect for learning and slalom, a little bit gusty but absolutely flat (unless there's a south swell).

Glassy
Yesterday we had the first day with no wind at all since the summer started, it was so hot that I had to go for a swim no matter what and the guys from Pozo Winds were there with the paddle boards so I ended up taking some pictures.

Nothing but fun
Since I came back to Pozo a couple weeks ago, I had two sessions taking pictures from the water, but standing on the sandbar at low tide. Last Sunday I went for a propper water session, swiming at the peak and I really felt my time away, I was so tired but I managed to stay there for nearly two hours, but the worse was that I had no timing at all, I screwed several framings and I totally lost my fight with the drops, but you know what? we had a lot of fun.

First session
I couldn’t expect a better welcome in Pozo Izquierdo, as I am completely out of shape, the light conditions we had this weekend have been perfect for my comeback, I had two windsurfing session with moderate wind and small waves (nearly flat) and later on, the wind picked up, waves got a little bit better and I could take some pictures, here you have just a preview, but now I’m destroyed and I have to wake up early tomorrow, so I’ll post more pictures during the week.
By the way, big changes in town, there’s a new shop in Pozo Izquierdo, Jonas Carlson and Javi Espín just opened POZO WINDS.
